Each calendar is printed on ivory recycled card stock with navy ink. This is the 36th year of publication! The moon phases are computed on Eastern Standard Time, and each calendar comes with a small booklet of lunar details and information about Polly Harrison, the original creator of this lunar phase calendar design.

The 9.5" x 17" posters are carefully rolled and mailed in a durable corrugated box.

What do we do with left over moon calendars?

We found a lot of calendars from previous years in Polly's studio. She would make file folders and insert cards for calendar shipments to try to use them up. So in keeping with her belief and practice to "Recycle - Re-use - Re-create - Respect the Earth," I decided to cut them into individual note cards to give them a new life and purpose. No two are exactly alike, but all of them display either mostly full moons or new moons on the front, and some of the cards actually have names of the months on the back, which is kind of cool and shows their origin. I'm not sure how many boxes of cards the past calendars will produce, but you are welcome to purchase them as long as I have them to make.

Each set contains 8 note cards and 8 matching ivory envelopes. They are held in a clear box simply marked with a Pollymoon sticker on the front, and a page on the back that tells about Polly Harrison, the moon calendars, and how these cards came to be what they are. Envelopes are 4 3/8" x 5 3/4", and note cards are slightly smaller.

The moon phase pattern

is so beautiful, symbolic,

and quietly spiritual.
